This page explains what data we collect when you visit digitaldesignproductions.com or use our contact form, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and who has access to it. We collect more technical detail than most marketing sites because it helps us route inquiries, prevent abuse, and respond faster. We never sell your data and we never share it with marketers.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit the contact form, we receive the information you provide: name, email address, optional phone number, optional company name, project type you selected, and the message body.

Information your browser sends automatically

With every contact form submission, your browser also sends technical details we use for security, routing, and abuse prevention:

  • A one-way hash of your IP address (used only for rate limiting; we never store the raw IP in our database)
  • Your browser’s User-Agent string (browser, OS, device class)
  • Your language preference (Accept-Language header)
  • The page that referred you to ours (truncated to the origin)

Information we collect from your browser at submit time

When you click Send Message, the form also gathers the following client-side details to help us understand the context of your inquiry and detect automated abuse:

  • Your timezone
  • Your screen and browser window dimensions, and pixel density
  • Your color scheme preference (light, dark, or unspecified)
  • Your browser’s preferred languages
  • Your device’s reported CPU concurrency and touch capability
  • An estimate of your network speed, where your browser exposes it
  • How long you spent on the page and on the form before submitting, and how far you scrolled
  • The full URL of the page you submitted from (including any UTM tracking parameters), and the page that referred you here

Analytics and cookies

Every page of this site loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-0VE51YZ0KN), which sets first-party cookies in your browser and sends Google:

  • The URL of the page you are viewing, and the page that referred you to it
  • An approximate region derived from your IP address by Google
  • Your device and browser type, and screen size

We use it for one thing: to see which pages and channels produce serious inquiries. We do not send Google the contents of your contact-form submission. Analytics data is processed by Google on our behalf and is subject to Google’s privacy policy.

You can opt out with Google’s opt-out browser add-on or any tracker-blocking extension. The rest of the site works normally without it, because nothing here depends on analytics loading.

Why we collect it

  • To reply to you. Your email and project details go straight to our team via a private internal channel.
  • To prevent spam and abuse. Rate limiting, bot detection, and behavioral signals (time-on-form, scroll depth) let us catch automated submissions without inflicting a CAPTCHA on real visitors.
  • To route your inquiry. Project type, the timezone your browser reports, and device class help us match the right team lead and respond with relevant context. We do not geolocate you ourselves: no location is derived from your IP address by us or stored with your submission.
  • To understand which marketing works. URL and referrer data tells us which channels send us serious inquiries so we can invest accordingly.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are stored in our database for 90 days and then automatically deleted. Application server logs (which may contain your raw IP address) are retained by Google Cloud for approximately 30 days under the default retention policy. If we’ve opened an active project with you, we’ll keep the relevant communication outside the auto-delete window so we can support the engagement, and we’ll tell you when this happens.

Who can see it

  • Our team sees every submission via an internal Discord notification.
  • Google Cloud hosts our website, database, and the function that processes the form, under their standard data-processing terms.
  • Discord delivers those notifications to a private, access-controlled internal channel. The notification contains your name, email address, company, phone number, project type, and the text of your message (truncated), along with the technical context listed above.
  • Google Analytics receives the page-view data described under “Analytics and cookies” above. It never receives your contact-form contents.
  • No one else. We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or add you to marketing lists.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete the information we have about you, or to send you a copy of it, at any time. Email us at contact@digitaldesignproductions.com with the email address you used to contact us and we’ll respond within one business day.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we’ll update this page and bump the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in our next reply to you if you have an active conversation with us.
